Tallulah is a beautiful 1 year old Austalian
Labradoodle. She is a love/cuddle-bug; affectionate, intuitive, incredibly smart, playful, silly, busy, interactive, curious,
cleaver, athletic and an amazing retriever just like her Mama Cleo.
Tallulah can be fearful in new situations or when meeting
new people and other doggies. However, once familiar and comfortable (allowing Tallulah to set her own pace) she will become the wonderful
Tallulah we all know and love here at Serendipity. We have been working with Tallulah, taking her everywhere we can to meet new
people and experience new situations and she is doing so well. Great job Tallulah!!! We are proud of you!!!
We
are looking for an experienced dog owner/family for Tallulah who has time, patience and an understanding of her type of temperament.
Your home should be quiet, structured, (as Tallulah will thrive on routine) a non-stressful environment, without young children, where Tallulah
is an important focus of your life and family dynamic.
We will not fly Tallulah to her new home. You must
live within driving distance of Rhode Island so you can pick Tallulah up. You must be willing to spend some quality time getting to
know Tallulah through visits to our home for a period of time. This helps to create a bond with Tallulah. You must have a completely
"physical" fenced in yard or be willing to install one before Tallulah arrives. Tallulah will not go to live with a family that
has an invisible fence. Someone also needs to be home a greater part of the day as this is what Tallulah is used to.
Tallulah
loves to play and will entertain herself for hours. She LOVES to go for long walks/hikes and is always the first in line to be
leashed. She LOVES to go for rides in the car, will roll over for a belly rub when asked or come up to you and bow her head for a
back massage. She loves to retrieve anything you'll throw and if you can't, she'll throw it and play fetch with herself. :
) She is very polite and respectful of the home, a bit nosy at times (which I find endearing) always wanting to know
what you are doing, what's going on and what's "up there" that might require her to lift herself up to have a look...so
I often pick her up and walk her around the house, yard etc. so she can have a birdseye view of our world.
I
just love when Tallulah is playing in our office while I'm working at my desk. She's busy, busy, busy playing when
suddenly she stops, comes to sit quietly by my side with her golden eyes staring up at me patiently waiting for me to acknowledge
her with a hello, head rub or warm cuddle. If I don't acknowledge her right away she will paw my thigh ever so lightly to get my attention.
So cute!!!
Tallulah is a towel thief and will drag her stolen treasure to her favorite spot and roll around with it
having a party with herself!! : ) It's very funny and cute to watch!! She has an amazing way of talking with her eyes which look
deep into your soul. She is the epitome of warmth, craves human touch and loves to cuddle up for belly rubs and back rubs or
just to make you feel special.
Tallulah is a medium size Australian Labradoodle at approximately 18 inches and 30
pounds. She has a gorgeous, caramel/cream silky, fleece coat with golden colored eyes almost the exact color of her coat. She
has lovely eyelashes and a liver colored nose. She is health tested, spayed, well trained, knows "doggie" sign language, knows
how to ring the "Pooch Bells" when she wants to go outside which, sometimes, need to be removed from the door handle as she and Piper
can be quite persistent. : ) She walks well on a leash, knows lots of fun tricks, is intelligent and ready to learn just about
anything else you want to teach her.
Tallulah has so much love and warmth to share. : ) There is a ZEN like quality to
her that is calm, relaxing and soooooooo cozy. She is comfort food for the soul!! : ) If you feel you are the
